Obama: Everyone is Wrong to Doubt ObamaCare

The King has spoken. His subjects are the idiots.

President Obama said Tuesday that Americans were wrong to doubt his signature healthcare reform law, saying concerns over rising costs or worsening health outcomes were not supported by the evidence.

In an interview with Telemundo on Tuesday, the president was asked if “everybody [was] wrong” after polling data indicated that a majority of Americans oppose the law and believe it will raise their healthcare costs.

“Yes,” the president said with a chuckle. “They are.”

Fuck you, he said.

“What we’ve seen is the lowest increase in healthcare costs in 50 years over the last several years,” Obama said. “So there is no evidence at all that this is somehow making healthcare more expensive. There’s a lot of evidence that it’s helping to make it cheaper.”

No evidence. You’re all just crazy. He’s the sane one.

A poll released Tuesday by NBC News and The Wall Street Journal found that just 31 percent of Americans believed ObamaCare was a good idea, while 44 percent thought it was not. Just three in 10 Americans say they understand how the legislation will affect them, and only 23 percent believe the law will have a positive effect on the country’s overall healthcare system.

And when it implodes–and it will–it won’t be his fault. He didn’t build that.

If the Obamacare law is ‘all that’ why is his Highness delaying so many parts?

“Lowest increase in 50 years” would be year-over-year numbers in hand. It does not address the record increases over the previous two years, as the insurance companies prepared themselves in anticipation that ObamaCare will bring.

Norma Obama is still big; it’s the pictures that got small…..

Well played, Teresa. Well played, indeed.

My sister’s fiance’s (an electrical estimator) monthly insurance payments are going from $70/month to $480/month as they bring his plan in line with Obamacare. My friend (a furniture delivery driver) says his payments have gone up 30% when they did initial revisions for Obamacare about a year ago, and are going to jump by 220% of the new price (didn’t give me pure dollar figures) for being in full compliance.

Heard similar things out of friends and family that are working class. Dunno what upper class insurance rates are doing, but this doesn’t sound like “smallest increases in history” to me.

“What we’ve seen is the lowest increase in healthcare costs in 50 years over the last several years,” Obama said.

but, if you believe that costs are increasing, you’re wrong…

    “Shut up,” he explained.
