Obama Encourages Kenyans to Come Together

Well, he’s succeeded in polarizing Americans like no president before him, so why not drive a wedge between Kenyans?

President Obama released a video statement to Kenya today, noting his connection to the country, and encouraging the citizens to participate in the upcoming national elections.

“I’ve been grateful for my connection to Kenya and the way you’ve welcomed me and my family to your beautiful country, from my father’s village in Alego to the bustling town of Nairobi,” Obama stated in a video with Swahili subtitles.

The president added that a “truly democratic Kenya” deserved a free and fair election, although he was careful to note that the United States of America would not endorse a specific candidate.

Now if he’s just be so gracious as to throw a few bucks to his hut-dwelling brother George.

Who knows, maybe some day he’ll actually encourage Americans to come together and stop polarizing us.

Um, Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, is not a “town,” Mr. President. Way to insult Kenyans. But I doubt they’ll notice, they love you so.

Oh. And I didn’t know better, I would say he seems awful interested in helping everything except the US economy, which, with negative growth last quarter is poised to take right off.

Just sowing the seeds so that he can become the first person in the world to be the president of not one, but TWO countries.

Remember, his administration is the one which “helped” Kenya draft a new Constitution which states that a person only has to have ONE parent who was a native Kenyan to be eligible to serve as president.

A candidate doesn’t even have to have lived in the country for any length of time…..
