Obama: Addressing Income Inequality Will Be the Focus of “All” the White House’s Efforts “For the Rest of My Presidency”

Well, we guess he’s moved on from his disastrous ObamaCare fiasco and on to full-blown class warfare. If he’s so concerned about income inequality, maybe he should donate the proceeds of the books Bill Ayers wrote for him to charity.

President Obama on Wednesday declared that addressing income inequality would be the focus of “all” of the White House’s efforts “for the rest of my presidency.”

In a sweeping address that touched on raising the minimum wage, investing in infrastructure and ending tax breaks for the wealthy, Obama warned that the American economy has become “profoundly unequal,” declaring economic mobility the “challenge of our time.”

“The combined trends of increasing inequality and decreasing mobility pose a fundamental threat to the American dream, our way of life, and what we stand for around the globe,” he said in an hour-long speech from a community center in one of Washington, D.C.’s poorest neighborhoods.

Obama’s speech came as the president has seen his approval ratings drop with the disastrous rollout of ObamaCare.

A CBS News poll released last month showed six in 10 adults disapprove of the president’s handling of the economy. Some 69 percent say the president has not made real progress toward fixing economic problems. And despite a booming stock market, unemployment remains high, at 7.3 percent.

Unemployment would be even higher were it not for the millions of people who have left the workforce. The percentage rate of people in the workforce has fallen since the recession that was in full force at the beginning of Obama’s presidency.

Obama’s done more for income inequality than any president before him. His rich liberal pals get richer while nearly 100 million people can’t find a job. The hypocrisy of this guy is just breathtaking.

You have to love how in every speech Obama pretends that he’s never been president before that moment.
For example this quote from he above article:

“In a sweeping address that touched on raising the minimum wage, (We did that in 2007 when he was a senator, the economy got even worse and more people lost their jobs)

investing in infrastructure (We did that in 2009 with the 1 Trillion dollar “stimulus” and were then told by Obama after all of the money had been spent “I guess those jobs weren’t as shovel ready as I thought” )

and ending tax breaks for the wealthy, (We just did that in January and have had to raise the debt ceiling twice since then)

Obama warned that the American economy has become “profoundly unequal,” (More unequal than at any time in history since he became president)

declaring economic mobility the “challenge of our time.””
(Until we learn about the new “challenge of our time” next week. Global Warming was last week’s “challenge of our time”)

I agree. It’s the Limbaugh Theorum in that he always campaigns and never acts like he’s the man in charge, unless it will benefit him politically. He speaks, waves his hands, and expects his bullshit to automagically work wonders. Then he’s off screwing around on his blackberry and back to not paying attention in meetings.

This is your president, folks. The idiots who said, “Mmm, get me some more of that!” should have this clown hung around their necks forever. But at least he’s focused (like a laser!) on screwing the economy even harder because he hasn’t done enough to ruin it thus far.
