Noted Media Expert Obama Declares Journalism Dead

He helped preside over the demise. If we still had any media integrity left this guy would never have come close to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, unless perhaps as a visitor. Ironically, Americans can’t even do that any longer, thanks to him.

President Obama weighed in on the state of journalism in an Amazon Kindle interview published Wednesday, noting the difficulties journalists face in the new media atmosphere and declaring that the “old times aren’t coming back.”

Is there anything this moron won’t inject himself into?
“It used to be there were local newspapers everywhere,” Obama said. “If you wanted to be a journalist, you could really make a good living working for your hometown paper.
As always, he’s hopelessly out of touch. Has he ever worked for a “hometown newspaper” in his life? Let’s put it this way, it’s not the easiest way to make a decent  living. Well, unless you’re a liberal suck-up who parlays a journalism career into a gig as White House propagandist. We’re looking at you, Jay Carney.

Once he realized he was a better journalist than anybody in the White House Press Corpse, declaring journalism dead was the least he could do.

Journalists shouldn’t feel so bad. Thanks to Obama there are a lot of jobs you can no longer make a good living at.
