Man Who Rarely Works Tells Graduates ‘As an African-American you have to work twice as hard’

Posted by on May 20, 2013 at 8:47 am

Remember he was going to be the post-racial president? Yeah, about that. He says African-Americans have to work twice as hard as whites? Maybe he should trying working half as hard as Americans struggling to get by in his miserable economy.

President Barack Obama told graduates from the traditionally African-American Morehouse College yesterday that ‘as a black man’ he feels a ‘special obligation’ to help those less fortunate them him.

In a personal commencement address to the college in Atlanta, Georgia, the president spoke about racism and how, given different opportunities, he could have ended up in prison or unemployed.

Any more scandals break out that could well happen.

The president told the graduates that they will all have been told ‘at some point in life as an African American you have to work twice as hard as anyone else if you want to get by.’

We’ve never had a more bitter or angry person in the White House. And we’re stuck with this jerk until January 2017? God help us. Ironic how the man who was nowhere to be found on the night of September 11, 2012 talks about working twice as hard.

So the dear leader is now playing the race card at graduation ceremonies. I guess that it makes more sense than the piece of garbage he pawned off on OSU. That one came back to bite his bony ass in short order.

I’ve no doubt that during the forties, fifties and sixties that statement was probably true. But thanks to “affirmative action” if your a minority and have the minimum required skills, your in. And the people who do your performance reviews will most always give you the benefit of the doubt. Our chief executive being a prime example. So cut him some slack. He’s BLACK!

This is enormously funny coming from someone who grew up well-off in frickin’ Hawai’i, and has never held a real job in his life, met a payroll, or gotten his hands dirty with honest work a day in his life…

This F’n Guy can go screw himself and take his shrew “senior advisor” Jarrett; his grasping, angry wife; and his pointy-headed mouthpiece Carney with him.

Hopefully all “black” kids have racist white grandparents to put them through expensive private prep schools like Obama’s did.

“Twice as hard” implies some type of extraordinary boundaries are exclusively placed in front of African Americans. My real world life experience which spans decades tells me that is complete nonsense.

Nobody I’ve dealt with and in almost all cases I’ve heard of over the last ten years has been the victim of racial discrimination. Does it exist? I’m sure it does somewhere but this demagoguery implies it’s widespread.

We are finally at the point in my life where we see people being judged by the content of their character and skills. Yet the first “post-racial” president who was largely elected by a white electorate instructs a generation of African Americans to get ready for the racists and once again arouses divisiveness instead of camaraderie as Americans.

What a disgusting political hack this man is.

“If he’d been arrested for drug use in Hawaii, all this never would’ve happened.”

Hell, if abortion had been legal in Hawaii in 1960-1, all this never would’ve happened.

“he could have ended up in prison or unemployed”

    It’s early days yet, Bucky.

He’s only half black. And it ain’t apparently the ethical, moral, and hard working half.

Ease up there, I’m sure the Lightworker meant “you have to work twice as hard on your putting.” I mean come on, name me one great African-American putter.

    Also, racist.

Shouldn’t he be helping his “less fortunate” half-brother in Kenya and SET an example, instaed of just blathering on about others doing it?

So this is what a post racial president sounds like>

I guess “post racial” does not mean what I thought it meant.

Ah… the old “you have to work twice as hard” song and dance.
    Let’s think about this a minute…
IF a black empoyee has to work twice as hard i.e. produce twice as much output, genrate twice as much profit, as his fellow white employees to make the grade what sane employer would have any white employees on payroll? Hell blacks work /produce twice as much no?

IF a black employee has to work twice as hard just to keep pace with the output/profit of his fellow white employees then what sane employer would have any black employees on payroll? Hell it takes blacks twice as long to get the job done/ generate the same profit no?

Both cases are false logic and anyone making this false case should be called on it.
