Michelle Obama on Monday touted her love of turkey chili and kickboxing in her first twitter chat via her @FLOTUS account.
The Q&A session, which was postponed from last week, was part of the celebration for the third anniversary of Let’s Move!. In the 45-minute session, Obama talked about the importance of exercise, visiting farmers markets, finding activities children will love and recommending recipes via her Pininterest account.
The first lady, who has increased her public profile in her husband’s second term, has also done a Google+ chat, a national tour, and several media interviews to tout her anti-obesity campaign.
The FLOTUS account tweeted a photo of Obama sitting at a laptop, wearing a purple patterned dress and pearls as she answered questions via the hashtag #AskFLOTUSSome of her tips and tidbits:”To relieve stress I love kick boxing.””I love turkey & veggie chili — lots of great recipes here: http://pinterest.com/MyPlateRecipes/.”
