I guess we should rephrase that as former liberal icon Bob Woodward.
The Washington Post‘s Bob Woodward ripped into President Barack Obama on “Morning Joe” today, saying he’s exhibiting a “kind of madness I haven’t seen in a long time” for a decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget concerns.
“Can you imagine Ronald Reagan sitting there and saying, ‘Oh, by the way, I can’t do this because of some budget document?’” Woodward said.
“Or George W. Bush saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to invade Iraq because I can’t get the aircraft carriers I need?’” Or even Bill Clinton saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to attack Saddam Hussein’s intelligence headquarters,’ … because of some budget document?”
No, we can’t imagine any of that because those presidents weren’t insane.

So there is one journalist left in the fading banana republic. This must cause a real dilemma for the wannabe state stenographer “journalists” out there since Woodward was their hero until he wrote something against Imam Hussein the Immaculate.
Holy shit. To think that Mr. Bob ‘I interviewed William Casey while he was in a coma’ Woodward is the only guy saying this is surreal.
I can’t help but think that this is some reincarnation of Journolist. It’s his turn to pretend that one person in the lapdog media isn’t a total lapdog.
