Nobody in America ever did more to combat AIDS in Africa than George W. Bush. Just ask Bono. But does he receive awards and recognition? Pfft.
Yet all Hillary Clinton has to do is give a speech and she’s celebrated and given awards. What a joke.
Hillary Rodham Clinton’s support of gay rights has earned her a special honor from the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The former secretary of state will receive its first Founder’s Award. In a statement Wednesday, the foundation cited a 2011 speech in which Clinton asserted that gay rights were human rights for helping envision a world without AIDS.
She did nothing but read a speech written by somebody else, yet gets honored for it? Please. Is this like giving Obama a participation trophy?
