In Hollywood, a store clerk shot and killed one of two hooded robbers who broke into the store at an Exxon gas station at 5190 S. State Road 7 on Monday just before midnight. The second robber took off in a car, but police arrested him a few blocks away, Vanegas said.

The other robber has been identified as 19-year-old Joshua Stewart. He faces charges of burglary and felony murder for his partner’s death, Vanegas said.
