Hapless Obama Tries to Distance Himself From Decision to Give Abortion Pills to 15-Year-Olds

We sense this decision is one the pro-abortion fanatic in the White House will live to regret. They must really be feeling the heat  if that mealy-mouthed twit Jay Carney is already playing games and passing the buck.

President Obama had nothing to do with the Federal Drug Administration’s decision to sell Plan B as an over-the-counter drug to women aged 15 and older, his spokesman told reporters.

“This is a decision that the FDA made and that is appropriate because it is an independent agency,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said when asked if Obama agreed with the decision. “The president, the White House, did not weigh in on this decision and I have not had a discussion with the president on this issue.”

It’s laughable, but they get away with this crap. Obama has nothing to do with decisions made by Obama is what he wants you to believe.  Obama has nothing to do with anything. He’s just around to have parties, call gay basketball players on the phone and go golfing. Don’t you know, he’s just a ceremonial figurehead and has nothing to do with important decisions that dismiss parental rights.

Obama’s philosophy would support making Plan B available to anyone who requests it. He appointed the leading figures at the FDA and I’m sure they share his world view. But I’m pretty sure Obama did not personally act or intervene to set the rule.
So what happens if a man purchases Plan B? Obviously it’s for someone else’s use.

You were doing quite well until that last bit. Unless he’s dumber then we think, he at least knew, and probably pushed for it. Like so many other things, he wants to avoid any down side while simultaneously paying off his base. And this, less than a week after he lauded the margaret sanger fan club? Of course there’s a chance for coincidence, but give credit where it’s due; this crew is skilled at such maneuvers.

He’s shown repeatedly with his czars, illegal appointments, executive orders and granting rules making capabilities to agencies that he loves to exert control exactly this way. The Chicago way.

I’m thinking the FDA would not have done anything contrary to the wishes of the great O’fumble, thus at least passively, he owns this shite.

OTOH, he owns it, because he’s in charge, right?

Independent Agency? riiiiiiiight……now pull the other one.

Obama just went out and performed oral (auditory?) fellatio on PP; I am sure he had nothing (even tangentially related) to do with giving 15 year old WOMEN (wtf!) access to abortion pills.

    nah.

    Howdy friends
I’m sure Obama supported the idea but I doubt he issued any directives. That’s all I’m saying.
He does own this decision because he appointed the movers of it.

“I’m sure Obama supported the idea but I doubt he issued any directives”

This is beyond semantics. You’re being obtuse, and for what? We get that we’re not likely to find photos of him tying damsels to railroad tracks. Is there a chance that they did this in some sort of vacuum? Yes. Which way is the smart money betting?

And that’s part of the charm.

We point out the obvious, and useful idiots state the other obvious part; there’s no scribed tablet or telegram issued in the dead of night. Then obama appears to be above the fray, AND the FDA that his appointee controls is now handing out abortificaents to 15 year olds. And so it goes. The neccessary and sufficient conditions for this gambit to succeed are an electorate that is polarized and not well educated, a compliant media and useful idiots that repeatedly issue momentous gems such as, “I doubt that he issued any directives”. As if you’d know. As if anyone could know, since the bag of tricks contains everything from a revolving door to not logging in visitors to his appointees using fake e-mail and text accounts.

You never even bothered to supply a reason for your assertion. I’ll help you out: It wasn’t a directive; it was a condition of employment when the person was appointed. Can I prove it? No. Would it be in keeping with what we do know of Chicago Jesus? yes. And it’s more than what you bothered to provide.
