Gosnell the baby-killer and the liberals who shielded him

Posted by on Apr 28, 2013 at 8:59 pm

One of the most disgusting serial killers in American history is standing trial in Philadelphia at the moment – and, since it’s happening in the US, where reporting restrictions are light, the media are free to discuss his case.

Only they haven’t – at least, not until recently, and even when the crimes are reported, they haven’t merited many headlines. Which is horrifying, when you consider what the killer is accused of. I’m going to leave out the nastiest details – but, seriously, if you don’t want to feel sick to your stomach, look away now.

Dr Kermit Gosnell, 72, “regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy – and then murdered these newborns”. That quote is taken from the grand jury report on the case. It describes Gosnell’s practice, called the Women’s Medical Society, as “a filthy fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread disease with infected instruments… and on at least two occasions, caused their deaths”.

Full story.

well, kids it doesn’t matter, anymore (for those living and deceased).

The bombing came, then the other bombing came, to cover up the abortion problem.

The president couldn’t comment on THAT (omg, noes!).

But he could go to Planned Parenthood (another “presidential” first for this guy) and ask God to bless their holy murder agenda. one of two things:
    1. Thumbed his nose at anyone opposing abortion “rights”
    2. Thumbed his nose at anyone opposing abortion “rights”

I’d like to add a #3, if you please.
    3. Satan incarnate.

The true protection for Dr. Gosnell and those like him who kill babies around the nation is simply this: several – probably many – states had or have stopped inspecting these “health clinics”. In the Pennsylvania case, inspections stopped in 1993 because the governor and his advisors decided that inspections would limit “…women’s access to necessary health care…”. They resumed inspections in 2010 after Gosnell’s arrest and indictment. Ohio? Stopped in ’94, just resumed last fall and have closed two “health clinics”. Indiana, Iowa …. how many others? I would wager a considerable sum of money that an honest investigation would find that many if not all states stopped inspecting these clinics to avoid having to shut them down, just as happened in Pennsylvania. This is the real horror: that the state agencies charged with protecting actual women’s health and safety have intentionally avoided doing their duty for a political cause. Not even to begin talking about the horrors the children suffered, as revealed in the Gosnell case testimony.

It is important to note: W’s buddy, Tom Ridge, Republican Governor of Penn., wait for it,….wait for it…was “pro choice”.

Get it? A pro-choice, republican, conservative governor (who, as of 1998, was supposed to be against partial birth abortion.

You can totally see how strong his stance was, here:

It isn’t liberals only to blame! Our own supposedly very conservative, Christian president, George W Bush was besties with a governor who intentionally overlooked the activities in PA.

This should be a gut check to all conservative voters who are asked to just, you know, look past that little pro-choice aspect of their candidate.

    Will people wake up?

We are being asked to look past those mildly unsavory murders of babies in exchange for some other “more important” issue.
Candidate ‘X’ is just a teensie, tiny bit pro-choice. Dont’ worry your pretty head about it. They will totally go to bat for the unborn.
