Good Grief: Chicago Kids Now Writing Letters to Obama and Senators Explaining Why They Want to Live

More shameless anti-gun propaganda.

Minister Jasmine Taylor, who runs the program, said, it helps children understand when they hear it from other children, saying, “I think they’re able to connect better when they’re in a group of their peers, learning and talking about the things they’ve had go on in their families and their experiences.”

The kids heard poetry, saw a drum demonstration and wrote letters to the President and U.S. Senators explaining why they want to live.

Many stood up and said what they want to be when they grow up, including a doctor, a police officer, a firefighters, the President, a princess and a man of God.

The letters said elected officials should “protect children, not guns.”

They want to protect children? OK, then how about an exercise where they pretend to be a five-month old fetus begging to live? They can send letters to Obama and it’ll get glowing news coverage, right? In the meantime, if they want to live, moving out of Chicago probably is their best hope.

Guns don’t shoot by themselves. Blacks are pulling the trigger. If whites were pulling the trigger you’d have round the clock police/national guard protection. Since blacks are killing blacks it doesn’t have the Pavlov allure for black charlatans to get in front of the cameras. It’s amazing. Blacks will march for the comparatively ridiculous and not for the senseless slaughter of their friends, relatives, neighbors.

They’d be better off asking Obozo & co. (ie, Holder & DOJ) to start *prosecuting* gun crimes in Chicago, which are currently down 40% from 2008.

That would go a long way to getting criminals off the street, and reduce the number of people likely to have and USE illegally obtained firearms.

The gun problem in Chicago occurs across the community but it festers mostly in a small demographic: poor young males from 14 to 30. Most of those people are also black.
The letters need to go to the schoolchildren’s neighbors, not the president. We white racists aren’t killing Chicago’s schoolkids; the schoolkids are killing each other.

Ah, but dahozho, prosecuting gun crimes in Chicago would involve too many blacks facing charges. That’s raaaaacis’.

I’d sure like to see copies of those letters—can they spell, write a coherent sentence, write in cursive? We call them children because they have no experience with life issues. Silly me, I thought they were in school to learn reading, writing, arithmetic, geography, etc, not to be used as propaganda tools.
