Former Bill Clinton Adviser: ‘Sanford Wins. Women Lose’

Posted by on May 07, 2013 at 9:30 pm

You can’t make this stuff up. Former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford won the special election for SC-1 tonight in a blowout over Elizabeth Colbert-Busch, the sister of so-called comedian Stephen Colbert. And the butthurt on the left is strong.

Shattering the irony meter is Donna Brazile, former Bill Clinton adviser.

Juanita Broaddrick was unavailable for comment. Say what you will, at least he wasn’t getting blown by an intern less than half his age. But hey, these Democrats care about women or something. A leading South Carolina Democrat said as much just today. For some perspective, consider that Mark Sanford ran off with a woman old enough to be Monica Lewinsky’s mother.

Others on the famously tolerant left aren’t handling things too well.

Says someone who surely voted for Obama. Sigh. Not only do women “lose,” but gays as well.

Guess not all gays get that special message.

The only surprise here is how any Democrat or moronic pundit (but I repeat myself) thought Sanford was going to lose in a district that seven months ago gave a Republican as flawed as Mitt Romney an 18-point win.

Donna Brazile calls her insurance company and ask why rates are going up. If she had a brain, she would be a rock.

Democrats make it a point to repeatedly say that Clinton was impeached because he had an affair, totally ignoring all that messy stuff about Clinton committing perjury (the real reason he was impeached). Democrats will say what Clinton did was a private affair (pun intended) and that Clinton is forgiven his transgressions.

But, it is apparent Democrats don’t believe Republicans should ever forgive a Republican like Sanford, which allows Democrats to ignore the fact that they should consider Sanford’s affair as a private matter just as Democrats believe Clinton’s affairs were. Go figure.

Of course, this is the same group who lionizes a serial philanderer who could be lethal to women he is dating.

    “Sanford wins. Women lose.”

No, you ignorant bint: a woman lost. A woman who was a shitty “vanity” candidate famous for nothing lost to another shitty candidate who happened to be male. Go to hell and suck on your indentity politics.
