Focused Like a Laser on the Important Issues: Team Obama Attacks ‘Climate Deniers in Congress’

This so-called “climate change” scam doesn’t even register on the radar any longer with Americans, but since Obama is desperate to avoid anything Americans really care about, here we go. Guns, gay marriage, global warming, you name it. Anything but the economy, national security and his ObamaCare abomination. It’s all part of their 2014 election strategy.

Good luck with that, chumps.

President Obama’s allies at Organizing for Action kicked off their campaign for climate change legislation with a video attacking “climate deniers” such as Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, for being on the opposite side of the issue.

“In 2011, there were 240 members of Congress who voted to say that climate change is a hoax,” OFA executive director Jon Carson reminded liberal activists in an email this morning. Most of them are still around today, and they’re getting away with it — some of them are actually proud of it. They think the whole debate is pretty funny. If we want to make progress on climate change, we need everyone in Congress on board for a solution.”

One frame in the video says that Republicans “deny the overwhelming science that climate change is real,” although some of the featured lawmakers — such as Rubio, whose comments bookend that charge — agrees that climate change is taking place but suggests that it’s not man-made.

Rubio’s just now discovering his “friends” in the Democratic Party are anything but.

Here’s the absurd video:

Meanwhile, last week Gallup released a poll asking respondents what they believe are the top problems facing America. See if you can find “climate change” in there. Also note how many people care about gun control. It’s not 90% as Obama absurdly claims. Go lower. Much, much lower.

Meanwhile, our European betters are quietly shit canning green initiatives.

And the Rev Al Gore still has a carbon footprint of 24-EE, as Iowahawk so ably noted.
