Delusional Obama to Call for $2 Billion Green Energy Fund

Posted by on Mar 15, 2013 at 9:11 am

He’ll cancel White Hours tours to save five bucks, but is willing to thrown another $2 billion down the green energy rathole.

He’ll never learn, will he?

President Obama in Illinois Friday will call for the creation of a $2 billion Energy Security Trust, which would take government royalties from offshore oil and gas leasing and use the money for research in green-energy technologies.

Obama hinted at such a proposal in his State of the Union Address and will make the announcement at Argonne National Laboratory, just outside Chicago.

The initiative comes as Republicans pressure Obama to approve construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, a project that would carry oil from Canada to refineries in Texas. The president has delayed construction of the pipeline because of environmental concerns.

The $2 billion fund would require congressional approval, an unlikely prospect unless the White House agrees to expand offshore oil-and-gas drilling.

Then he can blame Republicans, which is clearly the idea here.

Why shouldn’t he? He paid off his friends with Solyandra and at least two other con jobs. If this goes through, he continues to pay off his friends with our money. If he doesn’t, it’s seen as rethuglickans protecting “big oil”.

He has a compliant media, and he uses it.

Remember when Hillary boasted “I want to TAKE those [‘windfall’ oil company] profits…”?? Her plan was to jam that into a… wait for it… “Green Energy Fund”… to be doled out as political rewards by the pork peddlers in Congress and federal bureuacracies, of course.

It never effing ends with those people.

Since North Korea doesn’t recognize his cool marxist “professor” rockstar messiah title that is about the same amount of money it will take to relocate the missile interceptors.
