Courage: Hillary Clinton Bravely Reads Script in Support of Gay Marriage

She should rehearse these things so they don’t sound so forced.

Ironically her husband beat her to this. Heck, Dick Cheney beat her by four years. We hate to be suspicious, but is there damaging Benghazi information about to break?

    Here’s a test of one’s own open-mindedness.
If someone you really, absolutely dislike says something that makes sense to you, can you recognize it? Or if someone you respect greatly says something that doesn’t make sense, can you recognize that?
My area of agreement with the Clintons is very small, but this is part of it. I feel okay because Dick Cheney, whom I admire greatly, agrees with them and was ahead of them in his public position.
This should be driven by one’s serious beliefs, though, rather than by family involvement. Some people find their opinions are greatly affected when they realize that people they love fit into a category they have problems with. But if your loved one is beating family members, that is wrong regardless. I don’t see homosexual activity that way. But if I believed it was wrong before I knew a friend or child was gay, and if I still believed it was wrong, I hope I would try to be a guide to a healthier life.

Q: Why don’t we try being guided by the issues that Americans say are important?
a: If we do, it’ll mean revisiting obamacare, the economy, the deficit and spending.

Gay marriage is nowhere near the top ten items in the last five years. But it’s easier to pretend that you’re on the side of the (secular) angels than it is to produce a coherent budget. Heck, it gets you through elections, especially when the media is on your side.

No one died from a lack of marriage, gay or otherwise. People died from the leadership in place when our embassy was sacked. Hilary would rather talk about gay marriage, and people are giving her political cover.
