Bush 41 shaves head in support of 2-year-old cancer patient

When George H.W. Bush — aka “Bush 41” — was president he famously gave out awards for his “thousand points of light” as a way to recognize people doing noble volunteer work.

And now that the ex-president has shaved his head in solidarity with a 2-year-old leukemia patient, Patrick, maybe he should give himself one of those points of light.

Patrick is the son of a Secret Service agent, Jon, who is assigned to Bush’s security detail in Kennebunkport, Maine.  (Their last names were withheld at the family’s request.)

Recently, other members of the security unit started to bare their domes in support of Patrick, and they started to raise money for his treatment.

Full story.

There is little question the Bushes all know how to show a humane side in addition to their elitism (if you are for border protection you must be a racist being one of their major blindly intolerant positions.)

However, without casting any aspersions, let me remind you that Stalin famously observed “a single death is a tragedy; a million merely a statistic.”

And let me also remind you that once you Slick Willie’s slogan of “once you can fake sincerity, the rest is easy” was not invented by Slick.

And for those who want to charge me with Bush Derangement Syndrome — Your Bush Defensive Syndrome is far more irrational.

Yes, Pascal, because the Bush’s are such evil geniuses……

It must be fun roaming around in your head.

No one claims that the Bush presidents were the best ever. They were a far cry better than what we have now and are more humane than any democrat in power right now.

How much does Biden give to charity again? Oh yeah….no a whole lot.

Distracted much Sponge? What a nice squirrel Biden makes, eh sponge?

C’mon over to my blog my anonymous friend and you’ll see I have no use to any Dem and not much to any currently serving of the rest. We need new leadership badly, across the board.

The point you missed is that this post serves the Bush desire to appear decent when there is a yawning vacuum of it at the very top right now. Because the Bushes know we yearn for it like a man dying of thirst, they dangle icons of it as if it could make up for their lack of vision that they can speak of.

Daddy Bush joked about himself not having the Gipper’s gift, but it wasn’t that so much as he could not dare share his elitist vision as Reagan could inspire us with his. I’m sure it rankled Bush41 no end.

The Bushes may appear to be benign despots (especially when compared to the Bum), but they intend to be despots and not republicans. If you don’t want to understand that difference, there is nothing that can be done for you.

“They were a far cry better than what we have now”

That may or may not be true but regardless it’s the better the devil you know default position of so called conservatives that got us into this mess. The Democrats are the spawn of Satan but the GOP are first cousins. There can be zero doubt about that now.
