“If there’s even one thing we can do to reduce this violence, if there’s even one life that can be saved, then we’ve got an obligation to try.”
So said King Obama as he pimped out the children during Wednesday’s dog and pony show.
Well, here’s a life he didn’t save.
Homicide detectives on Long Island are investigating the death of a 4-year-old boy found unconscious and alone in an Amityville apartment.
Suffolk County police say officers found the child on a living room couch after a 911 call requesting an ambulance was received shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The boy was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead about two hours later.
Police say no adults were present in the apartment at 89 Ketcham Avenue.
The child was reportedly living in the apartment with his six-year-old sister and two adults who were not their parents, according to Newsday.com.
Maybe he can hold another staged event to announce a ban on evil. Not to diminish the death of this poor child, but it underscores the fact you cannot legislate behavior. There’s evil in the world, there are neglectful adults in the world. What if the adults in this story are illegal aliens? Will Obama still push his amnesty or will he announce a ban on illegal aliens?
