Why Aren’t They Called ‘Bush Tax Cuts for Everyone’?

The shameless propaganda from the Democrats continues, with yet another dire email warning today.

If you agree with President Obama that it’s time to end reckless tax breaks for the rich, now’s the time to say it.

Those “reckless” tax breaks also included a reduction for all American taxpayers, and in fact even those who don’t pay taxes (Obama’s base) also got a tax cut. But they ignore that and simply call them Bush’s tax cuts for the rich. They want to keep the rest of Bush’s tax cuts, but curiously the name Bush disappears.

Then they continue with the “hostage takers” nonsense. Sure, we can work with these people.

They’re willing to hold the middle class hostage just to get more tax breaks for the top 2%.

It’s time for Republicans in Congress to ditch Grover Norquist and his tax pledge once and for all.

Two weeks ago 99% of American’s never heard of Grover Norquist. But just like that he’s been added to the pantheon of Right Wing Bogeymen that include Karl Rove and the evil Koch Brothers.
