War on Small Business: DNC Sues Motel for 20 Rooms, Seeks Damages and Restraining Order

A little pushy, aren’t we? Why the hell do they have to go and attack some innocent business owner because of their own incompetence? Besides, it’s not as if people are breaking downs doors to attend the Democrat propaganda-fest in Charlotte anyway.

The Democratic National Convention Committee is suing Quality Suites in Pineville, seeking a restraining order to force the hotel to give it 20 rooms.

This is today’s Democrat Party: Do what we order or we will force you to comply. But they love small business owners or something.

The DNCC originally contracted with Quality Suites for up to 72 rooms at $124.99 a night, according to the lawsuit filed last week in Mecklenburg County.

The committee intended to use 20 of those rooms, and attempted to reserve them through their third-party booking company EventSphere. But on Aug. 15, the day after hotels were notified unused rooms could be released, the manager of Quality Suites emailed to say he hadn’t received any reservation requests and was releasing the rooms.

Sounds simple enough. But because these idiots don’t have their shit together, they have to make someone’s life miserable to cover their asses.
