I think this buffoon needs a vacation. First there was this incident Thursday night, and now he’s getting into confrontations at restaurants.
MSNBC host Chris Matthews got into a heated exchange with Republican delegates at a Tampa restaurant early Friday morning following the conclusion of the GOP national convention.
Matthews was booed and sworn at as he was leaving the Tinatapas restaurant, which is near the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Matthews turned back and confronted the taunting GOP officials. The Hill witnessed the exchange and interviewed Republican delegates after the confrontation.
Matthews told The Hill in a phone interview that after he left the restaurant, he heard a group of guys “heckling” and “hooting and hollering” at him.
He headed back into the restaurant to mix it up with them. “I wanted to confront them,” Matthews said, describing his exchange with the men as “towel-snapping” among guys.
Matthews said he told the rowdy group, “What’s this, a douchebag convention?”
The Republicans became angry and retorted back.
“I told him that’s next week,” said New York delegate Anthony Nunziato, referring to the Democratic convention in Charlotte, N.C., that will start on Tuesday.

Two wrongs don’t make a right, but I believe Chris Matthews just got told.
Chris (Douchebag) Matthews, stung to the quick by a week of being painted as Debbie Schultz after a sex-change, channels his Tip Oneal tough guy persona, venting his frustration over Eastwood’s expert skewering of The Incredible Shrinking President by playing Rham Emanuel ballet-tough guy upon innocent and pure Republican delegates.
It’s “72 hours under observation” time for Chrissy.

At the end of the video he calls the young man an example of “another underprivileged” American kid. Can you imagine Chrissy sarcastically dismissing a teenager saying the same thing about having met Obama? Of course you can’t.

Chris Matthews is a certifiable douchebag himself. So I guess it was a case of psychological projection that eventually propelled him to this kind of confrontation. If you look up the term “metrosexual putz”, you’ll find a picture of Chris Matthews.
BTW, I have a sneaking suspicion that Matthews is really an Obama automaton (Obamaton) and he’s powered by butterfly belches and unicorn farts. I think that accounts for the tingle that was constantly running down his leg when he saw his puppetmaster Obama.

Has anyone done the calculations for how many metric tons of sand has been cycled through Chris Matthew’s sandbox over the last twenty years? There ought to be an environmental law against that kind of waste.

Ordinarily I disaprove of rudeness and heckling, especially when a man (however public or douchey a figure) is just trying to have a meal. But after accusation after accusation of racism, which is (rightly) one of the worst things you can call someone in today’s society, they were more than entitled to confront him.
He’s lucky we live in this age where he was only mocked – in a more civilized time, they would have decked him for his constant slander, and no jury would have convicted them.

I’m quite willing to believe that Chris Matthews has rabid voles in his veins instead of red blood cells but I’m missing what was so unhinged about this. He seems to have gotten the worst of it but frankly, if I were in that restaurant, I would have objected a little bit to the aggressors, depending on what was said. And I probably make you look like Walker Mondale, politically.
