I totally didn’t get the joke about the earth paying taxes and what that had to do with Romney being elected. What, is that like a capital-gains sale? Because the earth has gone up in value while Obama had it (was President), and if it’s sold to Romney (next President) it has to pay taxes or something? That makes no sense at all, of course…but I’m grasping at straws here because the joke itself had no obvious meaning.
