The one thing that got my attention is the list of companies hiring young folks. All retail or fast food. Gone, apparently, are the entry level blue collar jobs. There were a couple of tech companies like Apple, although those jobs were most likely in their retail stores, Google and Tech for America, whoever the heck they are.
So kiddies, it appears along with that college degree critical skills you will need are good diction, so your voice is not distorted by the speaker at the drive through window, a good memory of what the special of the day is and being able to locate a product on a shelf in the store and some really comfortable shoes because you are going to be standing a lot.
