Don’t blame me, blame Jammie for putting up 2, count ’em two posts today about that charade of a football team the New Jersey Giants. In the interest of fair time I just have to tout my own hometown team the Atlanta Falcons.
The Giants have Satan Mannings big brother and the Falcons have Matt “Ice” Ryan. Looking at the stat sheet it shows they are pretty equal except for that part about Manning throwing more interceptions. When it comes to running backs I don’t think they have one. I’m not sure how they managed to win any games either since none of their defensive players even show up on the stat sheet.
So in other words, in spite of the fact that they play in very weak division, one in which they won despite the fact that more points were scored against them then for them, the biggest advantage they have appears to a large tv market.
And of course being the class act that they are the Giants have also begun the early trash talking.
“Most people would call them dirt bags,” Giants defensive end Justin Tuck told ESPNnewyork.com on Monday. “But it is what it is. We got to make sure we do our job, and, if we are doing our job well, then they will be upset and they will be trying to do things to get us off our game. We’ve got to take that a as a compliment.”
