Surprise! Obama’s Pal Morsi Appoints Himself Dictator of Egypt

Gee, we never saw this coming. Let’s send him a few billion more.

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi issued constitutional amendments yesterday, granting himself sweeping powers and ordering the retrial of leaders of Hosni Mubarak’s regime for the killing of protesters in the 2011 uprising that ousted Egypt’s old guard.

After ordering the retrials, he dismissed the Mubarak-era prosecutor general, immediately swearing in a new one.

Morsi also ordered that all decisions he has made since taking office in June and until the adoption of a new constitution are not subject to appeal in court or by any other authority, a move that places him above oversight of any kind.

The Egyptian leader also decreed that the panel drafting a new constitution would be immune from any possible court decisions to dissolve it.

He granted the same protection to the largely toothless upper chamber of parliament. Both are dominated by Morsi’s Islamist allies.

Obama must be green with envy. Meanwhile, opponents aren’t taking this well. What a shock.

Don’t think that 0bama isn’t paying careful attention as to how it’s done,..and how to get away with it.

Sadly, our mainstream media in Americadoesn’t even have a 10th of the integrity of Egyptian news sources.

If anyone has actually followed the history of most of the Arab nations, a dictator is precisely what is needed to keep the shaved apes at bay. It’s only when the radical muslims are allowed unfettered access to power that we have the upheaval present like we have today. These folks are not suited for a “democracy”, period.
