In case you missed the lunacy that is “Space Traders,” a portion of the 1994 release “Cosmic Slop,” it must be seen to be believed. Mind-numbing lunacy from an esteemed Harvard professor and hero of one Barack Obama. You may have heard of Derrick Bell by now, the man the leftist media is doing anything to avoid discussing (can’t we get back to Rush Limbaugh already?).
Kurt Schlichter sums things up nicely.
Move over, “Citizen Kane”: Derrick Bell’s racist-commie-sci-fi extravaganza “Space Traders” is clearly the greatest motion picture ever made.
Oh, not on an aesthetic level – it’s an artistic disaster by any sane criteria.
And not on any moral level either – it’s a rancid conglomeration of the most feverish of leftwing, race-hustling fever dreams spiced up with a dash of anti-Semitism and some gratuitous anti-white racism.
In other words, it’s pretty much what you’d expect if someone was dumb enough to give a Harvard Law critical race theorist a camera.
It’s great because it gives a clear picture of what the guy our President figuratively and literally embraces really believed about his country – something the mainstream media refused to explore, and which it continues to conceal.
So sit back, check your brain at the door, drop a handful of acid, and prepare yourself for the magic … of “Space Traders.”
Not only did Obama remain close with Bell until his death, but it should come as no surprise the co-director of this abomination happens to be a big Obama donor.
Steven Spielberg has donated $50,000 — the maximum that Obama’s inaugural committee would allow — for the events. So did Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Sharon Stone, Bradley Whitford, Tom Hanks and Ron Howard. Jamie Lee Curtis kicked in $25,000, as did Magic Johnson and director-producer Reginald Hudlin.
In return for their generosity, the donors will receive a number of prime tickets to inaugural events. No sense in missing out if you have cash on hand.
Ironic how a man directing crackpot racist tripe about how horribly blacks are treated in America is a member of the 1%.
Hudlin’s Twitter account had been pretty much dormant since last July, but he recently began commenting again.
One gem from today:
Prof bell was a “radical” like MLK and throgood Marshall
So the nutty Bell is on par with Martin Luther King and Throgood Marshall? Really?
Now if you’re ready for your brain to melt, enjoy.
