Stay Classy, Philly Fans

They never could handle defeat. I’m sure these thugs will feel proud knowing they pummeled an off-duty copy and Iraq Marine veteran.

Stay classy, Flyers fans!

An off-duty New Jersey cop and Iraq veteran wearing a New York Ranger jersey was savagely beaten by a pack of thuggish Philadelphia Flyer fans in the City of Brotherly Love Monday, his father said last night.

Neal Auricchio Jr., 30, had driven down to Philadelphia with a friend to watch the outdoor “Winter Classic” between the two rivals.

After the game, Auricchio went to the famous Geno’s Steaks, and a pack of Flyer fans began talking trash and then jumped him.

“He’s in pretty tough shape,” said Neal Auricchio Sr. “He got beat up pretty bad.”

Video of the attack on YouTube shows several men in Flyer jerseys bending over to punch Auricchio as he lies motionless.

Neal Jr., a former US Marine who served two tours and earned a Purple Heart, was hospitalized with a concussion.

A Woodbridge cop for four years, he is married with an infant son.

One of these morons bragged about it.

Cops may have caught a break Wednesday when one Philly knucklehead, Edward Neary, took to the Facebook page of the Broad Street Hockey blog and confessed.

“It was me and my friends, do something about it,” he bragged in the comments section of a graphic video of the fight, before adding a homophobic slur. “How dumb do I look knocking someone out pretty sure they look dumb eatin concrete,” he wrote.

Neary later backed off of his boast and blamed three pals for the attack.

I’ve lived here for 66+ years. Fat drunks puking on fans at CBP, man beaten to death in CBP parking lot, Sucker punches in front of Geno’s. This place really has turned into a sheet-hole.

There’s a reason why the city and their sport’s teams are hated universally.

Kinda glad the Flyers tanked last year and the Eagles bombed out.
