Rudy Giuliani: Libya is a ‘teaching moment,’ because ‘Obama will be teaching next year’

I have to slightly disagree with Mayor Giuliani. What reputable university would hire Obama?

At a New York fundraiser for GOP congressional candidate Dan Halloran, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani blasted President Obama for his leadership failures after the terrorist attacks in Libya.

Giuliani reasserted that Obama was wrong to blame the attacks on the YouTube video and criticized the president for decreasing security at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

“This was for President Obama, I believe, a teaching moment. Because next year, I believe, he’ll be teaching,” he joked, as the crowd laughed.

Giuliani said it was ridiculous for Obama to make a “gratuitous apology” for a video the United States had nothing to do with. “It gives a sense to people who aren’t listening or thinking very clearly that maybe we did have something to do with it,” he stated.

Reached for comment, the easily amused Joe Biden laughed. And laughed. And laughed.

Ahmen bro. I would love to see Rudy in a Romney admin. I would say ambass to the UN. He would kick some serious butt and help us back out of that corrupt org.

Harvard has a practicing non licensed Cherokee lawyer, maybe a there is room for a non licensed Constitutional expert mulatto? Seems like a good fit.

I could think of worse replacements for Holder than Rudy.”

Rudy would be great, he would pursue the corruption of Holder and company like a pit bull.

Can’t you see Obama next year? He’ll be headed for his class at the University of Chicago, driving that Chevy Volt he says he’ll get. While driving down Lake Shore Drive, the battery will catch on fire.

Oh, given the obsequious tongue-bath Obama received from the strong, independent feminists at Barnard when he spoke at their commencement this spring, I have no doubt he’ll be able to get a teaching job anywhere he wants. Heck, New York Times editor Jill Abramson was originally scheduled to be the commencement speaker, but when the White House called, the school kicked Abramson to the curb. http://magazine.columbia.edu/news/spring-2012/barnard-white-house-calling

All of the “reputable” universities have hired frauds, shills, idiots, etc. Obama would be a step up compared to some of their faculty. If that’s not a stinging indictment of higher education, I don’t know what is.

    Unlike his campaign……..

What would Obama teach? Constitutional law? The whole course would take a couple of minutes: solution to any issue – executive order.

Comment 5 ‘moron’: Please note it was supposed to be a reputable school. That would leave Harvard out.

Obama… teaching? No. I think he really should go for the Secretary General spot at the UN. The absolute uselessness of that body is perfect for the Most Useless American President Evah.

I bet Evergreen (in WA state) would, you know, Rachel Corrie’s alma mater? The only thing that might save us is the fact it doesn’t have a law school I think.

I think it’s pretty basic. Obama is the dreamiest ideologue in nearly every faculty lounge. After all, look at the source of the top 5 or 10 of his campaign donations in 08 and this time. The faculty of the CA system or Harvard might become orgasmic if they found him in a role at their schools.

Where did Giuliani say Obama would be teaching at a reputable school? He just said “teaching.”

Besides, with the income available in speaking fees to former Presidents, Obama will have no reason to tie himself down to any sort of routine job.

I don’t think Obama will be teaching for very long. How long would it be before his Pinocchio nose outgrew the lecture hall?
