Romney Ad: Obama’s Welfare Changes are ‘Nuts’

Well, the new Romney ad cites a Virginia newspaper calling Obama’s unilaterally ending welfare work requirements as nuts. Can’t wait for the yelping from Team Obama that Romney is calling hims crazy.

Mitt Romney’s campaign released a new ad Monday citing a newspaper editorial that decries President Obama’s recent change to welfare policy as “nuts,” doubling down on the presumptive Republican nominee’s tough attacks on the shift.

The ad closely mirrors a recent and heavily-broadcast attack from the Romney campaign criticizing Obama over a memo from the Department of Health and Human Services that said states could apply for waivers to the welfare-work requirement, and is now the third Romney television commercial on the issue.

The commercial cites heavily from an editorial in the Richmond Times Dispatch, as Romney looks to continue highlighting the policy shift — and appeal to voters in Virginia, a crucial swing state in November.

Using Bill Clinton in the ad is a nice touch.

The Obama campaign has called Romney a tax evader and a felon. Romney is REPEATING a news article that calls the change ‘nuts.’

    Which is worse?

We have a petulant little child in the White House, so I’m guessing they will not be quiet about this one.
