Ready For a Taliban Ambassador?

It appears that yet another terrorist organization is set to go mainstream.

The Afghan Taliban said on Tuesday they have reached a preliminary deal with the Gulf state of Qatar to open a liaison office there in what could be the first step toward peace talks to end more than a decade of war.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said the liaison office will conduct negotiations with the international community. He did not say when it would open.

I can’t wait to see meetings between Hillary and whichever head chopper they appoint as ambassador. I would imagine that any peace talks that begin with you throwing acid into the face of the person on the other side of the table probably won’t go well.

The U.S. outreach this year has progressed to the point that there was active discussion on two steps that the Taliban seek as precursors to negotiations, said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the issue.

I tend to view a group which uses children as suicide bombers, attacks girls for going to school, and stones women to death for reporting a rape in a less then favorable light and the only thing I want to reach out and touch them with involves a .30 caliber bullet and a scope.

Please use the proper terminology- it’s cranial liberator. They’ll be invaluable to the non-death panel board when Obamacare kicks in fully.
