Putin’s Awkward Bobsled Fail

Someone’s getting shipped off to the gulag for this.

Russia’s prime minister, Vladimir Putin, visited the Paramonovo bobsleigh track outside Moscow to watch the Russian team train. Putin joined in, gliding down the racetrack with bobsleigh pilot Alexei Shadeyev, but they failed to make it to the finish line. The stop was the last in his campaign trail leading up to the presidential elections on 4 March. Putin hopes to be re-elected, having previously served two terms

Enjoy the humiliating moment.

It’s a four-man bobsled that the TWO of them are riding in, the way you’re SUPPOSED TO launch one of those is start off with four men pushing it, then they hop in in sequence and tuck down to cut the effect of the wind. Two guys gave them a “kiddy start”, of course they didn’t make it up the first hill! Hillarious!

That’s a start training track, not a full bobsled track. No finish line, you just practice the push then glide to the top on the other side. Still pretty funny. Can we send O too?
