Before laughing yourself silly, let it be known Mitt Romney toured Louisisana already on Friday. President Empty Chair might make it there Monday. But don’t tell that to Dingy Harry. He’s got his talking points and he’s sticking to them.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., accused Mitt Romney of “hypocrisy” for visiting victims of Hurricane Isaac, saying that Romney would ignore them if elected president.
“It is the height of hypocrisy for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to make a pretense of showing sympathy for the victims of Hurricane Isaac when their policies would leave those affected by this disaster stranded and on their own,” Reid said yesterday in a statement, per The Huffington Post.
President Obama announced – after Romney announced his visit to Louisiana — that he would schedule a trip to storm-affected areas, but Reid did not accuse him of faking his display of sympathy for flood and storm victims.
The Nevada senator has already accused Romney of lying about paying his taxes, saying that he has an anonymous source who knows Romney did not pay taxes for 10 years. Reid doesn’t think he should have to provide evidence for this accusation.
“I don’t think the burden should be on me,” Reid told reporters when pressed to substantiate his claim. “The burden should be on [Romney]. He’s the one I’ve alleged has not paid any taxes.”
What a sad, pathetic old child rapist.
