A quarterback sneak by Tom Brady was the difference that gave the New England Patriots a 23-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game.

The win sends the Patriots to the Super Bowl to face the winner of the San Francisco 49ers – New York Giants game.

Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff missed the opportunity to tie the game and send it into overtime with seconds remaining in the game.

At the end of the third quarter, a fumble by Patriots running back Danny Woodhead led to a field goal that gave the Ravens a 20-16 lead.

The Ravens had taken the lead less than three minutes earlier on a touchdown pass from Joe Flacco to Torrey Smith.  Earlier in the quarter, a third field goal by Stephen Gostkowski had given the Patriots a 16-10 lead.
