Outraged Media Matters Demands Democrats Return Hilary Rosen’s Massive Campaign Contributions

Posted by on Apr 12, 2012 at 10:20 pm

Does CNN know their on-air talent is contributing heavily to the Democratic Party? Shouldn’t there be some sort of disclosure when these folks come on air that they’re being paid by the DNC while also contributing to them? This cretinous Hilary Rosen, partners in a firm with former White House flunky Anita Dunn that is being rewarded handsomely by the DNC, also happens to be doling out large sums to — wait for it  — the Democratic Party!

Why there’s a nice $1000 contribution to the DCCC. Sweet. And hey, look over there, there $2500 to Kirsten Gillibrand last month as well. Gillibrand, oddly enough, is one of the few Democrats to not throw Rosen under the bus today. But still, she’s nowhere to be found.

Which reminds us, every time a conservative steps in it, be it on TV or radio, the stormtroopers from Media Matters, along with their partners from the White House and DNC, leap into feigned outrage and begin their tiresome boycotts.

Where are the Soros flying monkeys today? Not a peep about this assault on stay at home mothers and Ann Romney. An off-color remark about a DNC plant whining about contraception costs and there’s weeks of national headlines. The biggest story in America this day? Meh.

It’s been incredibly amusing watching Democrats distance themselves today, pretending they hardly have anything to do with each other. Funny, considering Rosen has contributed at least  $189,000 to them. Not to mention another $157,000 to special interests.  Oh, she did toss a couple of bucks to a few Republicans over the years. Last one? Mark Foley.

I highly doubt she found any conservative causes special or interesting. Heck, Rosen is listed No. 27 in the contributor power rankings. She’s the upper crust elite, the, ahem, 1%. Yet, she somehow manages to find her way into the White House 35 times to visit our heroic middle class warrior.

This woman has been lavishing money on Democrats going back to the 1980s. Don’t buy the nonsense they’re not joined at the hip. Her PR firm has an “In the News” section, and she and Dunn and featured many times.

Oddly enough today, like at Media Matters, she didn’t make the news.

Hilary’s mistake is she didn’t stick to the script. She wrote her own script. That simply isn’t done. The Democratic talking points are the topics for the day. Dems think all voices saying the same thing reinforces the theme.

How dare she speak for herself!

Well, when you do make up your own script, you commit to possibly winding up a hero, a heroic goat or a goat. Hilary has achieved pure goat in popcorn-worthy fashion.

    do not be fooled.

she is speaking for her masters, obama and his ilk.

she knew what she was doing and it was for obama and his ilk.

after all she is a regular visitor to the White House!

Oh no. She was on script. Obama himself set up her remark earlier when he talked about how he and Michelle didn’t have the luxury to have Michelle stay at home with their kids.

They were going for a “2-fer” here: paint Ann Romney as out of touch because she’s a wealthy, “kept woman” and therefore can’t possibly relate to women, and remind everyone of their class warfare meme.

It wasn’t until it became clear that stay at home moms and the people who love them took great exception to those remarks that suddenly the Obama administration was against their own attack.

Don’t forget also this chick is a lobbyist for the SOPA, the controversial legislation which brought dems and conservatives together protesting the censorship of the Internet.

The slickster and, his remarks regarding ‘Michelle didn’t havethe luxury blah blah blah….
This is the woman working in the hospital in Chicago making 97k and, after her husband promised an 1 million dollar contribution/earmark, her salary jumped overnight to 350+k; talking about cronyism. The earmark didn’t go thru, subsequently her salary was redused to 295k, still quite a pay raise.
Her biggest work contribution was her specialty in ‘patient dumping’.
I wish he and, his bigfoot mooch keep the ‘woe-is-me-shit’ to themselfs; who gives a shindola.

SouthernSue and Corky up there are at odds, with opposite reads on a very fascinating question. Hannity sez (and God Bless Sean, but I do need second source verification) that Hillary Rosen is livid about being thrown under the bus here.

So the question is begged, pleaded, implored…

Was Hillary Rosen doing exactly what the Party wanted her to do, even very specifically, only to be left twisting in the wind (BIG time!) when things didn’t go as predicted? Or was she genuinely speaking off the cuff and just stepped in it? Hannity sort of implies the former, and what a delicious story that would be if broken open. Many others in Rosen’s place would spill the beans if it were true, out of sheer rage at the cynicism, but of course that would be a colossal break for the GOP, so Rosen will have to seethe in silence. And find that whole scenario all too plausible.

But there are a couple of her walls that I would give my right arm to be a fly on right now. Maybe we should try to measure her enthusiasm meter over the next few weeks and months to get a reading.

Ha ha ha, now that’s funny, to think she went off script. You’re killing me over here.

And James, remember, as always, should you or any member of your team be caught, captured, poll poorly, have this thing backfire, be hoisted by ones own … oh you know the deal, just remember the bus, the very famous bus, the proverbial bus, always with the bus.
