Finally, a political action committee willing to draw a decisive line and take a principled stand against the spread of disgusting and coarse language invading our nation’s political life.
Priorities USA Action, the unrestricted Super PAC that President Obama opposed before he supported it, announced a decision Thursday about its largest donation yet, a $1 million check from alleged comedian Bill Maher. The laughmeister is famous on the left and right for calling Sarah Palin and other conservative women “#$&*s,” “$)+#&es” and “**&%ing #=+#<s.”
His chronic displays of such wit and comedic talent have caused the cable channel to use Maher as late-night programming along with such cinema classics as “Bikini Girls from the Lost Planet” and “Busty Coeds vs Lusty Cheerleaders” featuring, we’re told, real simulated sex acts and skilled hair-tossing. So, anyone can understand Maher’s popularity for a while every time he gets a new show.
Anyway, the issue of coarse language didn’t come up in the popular media for some reason when Maher uttered his unprintable laugh lines about conservative females. Because, well, you know.
