Oh No: High-Priced Romney California Fundraiser ‘Riles Critics’

I guess only the failed president is allowed to have high-end fundraisers in California. So Mitt Romney has a big bash scheduled this week in the Bay Area and apparently this offends people, unlike Obama’s 847 fundraisers held recently there.

Romney’s Hillsborough event – and his close association with Whitman – both represent “a risk,” said economist Sylvia Allegretto of UC Berkeley’s Institute for Research on Labor and Employment.

“Democrats should be hitting this hard,” she said, to drive home their point “that running a company and running a country are absolutely almost antithetical to each other.”

How’s Obama’s “running the country” been going? And may I ask, what the hell did he ever run before stumbling into the White House?
Mitt isn’t the only Romney under fire. The assault on Ann Romney continues. So much for that so-called war on women.
Democrats are also raising eyebrows at a “ladies luncheon” that Ann Romney, the candidate’s wife, is hosting Wednesday at the Palo Alto home of Cisco Systems CEO John Chambers and his wife, Elaine.
The nerve of this woman trying to help her husband win an election.
The reporter helpfully notes some fringe group run by Communist Truther Van Jones is also attacking Romney. Imagine that.
Liberal groups are getting even tougher: AmericansUnitedforChange.org, an activist group, this week released a list of Romney’s “all time, out-of-touch, 1 percent moments” – including his plans for a new $55,000 car lift at his beachfront home in La Jolla (San Diego County).

Can we get Romney to vow that he won’t refer to Americans as “bitter”, and “clinging to guns and religion” while he’s at that fundraiser?

What? That was the dear leader that said that while on a Left Coast fundraiser? ………Never mind.
