The coward in the White House spent Monday at (what else?) a slew of New York City fundraisers with his wealthy banking and entertainment friends, but managed to take the time from his grueling schedule to tweet his support for Scott Walker’s challenger before today’s recall election.
While President Barack Obama sat out taking a vocal role in Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett’s quest to oust Gov. Scott Walker in Tuesday’s recall election, he did take the time to issue an election-eve Tweet in which he proclaimed to be “standing by Tom Barrett. He’d make an outstanding governor.- bo”
Though Obama traveled as close to Wisconsin as Minneapolis on Friday, he didn’t make any personal visits for Barrett.
He stands by Barrett, from a safe distance. What a man.
Meanwhile, as he “stood by” Barrett, he spent most of the day with that man of the people, Jon Bon Jovi, who flew from DC to New York with the failed president.
Rocker Jon Bon Jovi got a lift Monday to New York on Air Force One with President Obama.
The Bon Jovi frontman was spotted by reporters rounding a corner at JFK airport in New York City. After he was spotted, the White House acknowledged that he joined the president on the flight. A White House official said he was traveling as a “guest of the President.”
Maybe it was a special date night for Bammy and Bon Jovi, as the cozy couple also flew back to DC together. Could it be love for our first gay president?
The event ended at about 10:30 and Obama got back on Air Force One to Washington — with Bon Jovi aboard.
