Obama: “Nobody Accused Mr. Romney of Being a Felon”

Even by Obama’s low standards, this is really pitiful.

“First of all, nobody accused Mr. Romney of being a felon,” President Obama said during a rare conversation with the White House press corps.

Obama was defending his campaign from charges that he is being too negative. “We point out sharp differences between the candidates, but we don’t go out of bounds,” he added.

Um, OK.

Deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter laid out the issue as the Obama team sees it: “Either Mitt Romney, through his own words and his own signature, was misrepresenting his position at Bain to the SEC, which is a felony.”

Playing these childish word games is so unpresidential, but we expect nothing less from this loser. Quite amusing to see him playing damage control with his adoring press corps after ignoring them in lieu of creampuff  “interviews” with the likes of People magazine.

So his deputy campaign director is part of some “vast right-wing conspiracy” perhaps?
