Obama: “I’ve always said the best engine for growth is the private sector, not the government”

Barack Obama

He really thinks you’re stupid.

President Barack Obama on Thursday signed the JOBS Act, a bill passed by Congress with bipartisan support that aims to help startups and small businesses raise capital by easing regulations.

“This bill represents exactly the kind of bipartisan action we should be taking in Washington to help our economy,” Obama said before he signed the bill in the White House’s Rose Garden.

“I’ve always said the best engine for growth is the private sector, not the government,” he said, adding “our job is to help our companies grow and hire.”

The government’s job is is to help “our” companies grow? Really? So if the best engine for growth is the private sector, wouldn’t it make less sense to have more government involvement? Speaking of the smug condescension of Team Obama, did you realize how stupid you were to misconstrue his outrageous comments about the Supreme Court?
