Is there any end to this guy insulting the British? Back in 2009 he so graciously bestowed an iPod loaded with his speeches to Queen Elizabeth and then insulted our friends by returning a White House bust of Winston Churchill.
Next week Prime Minister David Cameron will be visiting the U.S. So what does Obama have planned for him? Why that longtime British tradition of college basketball. And not even a big game. Instead, Obama will treat Cameron to a mere play-in game in Dayton, Ohio.
President Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron will attend a game in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament in Dayton, Ohio, on Tuesday.
Cameron, and his wife Samantha, are in town on an official visit and State Dinner, according to the White House.
Obama, an avid basketball fan, and Cameron will go to one of two games scheduled for Tuesday in Dayton. One starts at 6:30 p.m. and one at 9:00 p.m.
The games are in the first-round in the tournament. Which teams are playing won’t be known until the NCAA selects the field on Sunday.
Of course we will also commence another month’s worth of slobbering over Obama on ESPN shortly.
