Obama Fundraiser Spike Lee “Apologizes” For Endangering Florida Couple, But Only After They Lawyer Up

All it took was for the poor McClains to lawyer up  for this punk to slither back onto Twitter to (ahem) apologize for his outrageous behavior. Here’s his so-called apology:

I Deeply Apologize To The McClain Family For Retweeting Their Address. It Was A Mistake. Please Leave The McClain’s In Peace.Justice In Court

Remember when Rush Limbaugh apologized to Sandra Fluke? Yeah, I remember all his enemies called off the dogs and left him be.

Oh, wait, they didn’t?

Well, Lee needs to be held to account.

“This is really scary and I’m concerned for my family,” said Elaine McClain’s son from a previous relationship, who is named William George Zimmerman.

“It’s scary, because there are people who aren’t mentally right and will take this information and run with it,” the son told the Orlando Sentinel newspaper.

The kooks have already started issuing threats.

Somebody sent a letter with words “Taste the Rainbow,” the slogan for Skittles, written on the envelope, The Smoking Gun Web site reported.

The hoodie-wearing Martin was killed while returning from a 7-Eleven carrying a bag of Skittles.

After the twitter-fueled furor, the McClains fled to a hotel.

Lee last night finally said he was sorry for the tweet, which he posted last Friday.

So it took nearly a week for this scumbag to apologize and only after his victims hired legal counsel. Now I’m wondering: The president called Sandra Fluke during the orchestrated Limbaugh flap and last week injected himself into the Martin case. When will he be calling the McClains to apologize personally for the actions of his fundraisers who, to paraphrase Obama, have acted stupidly?
