Obama Claims High Gas Prices Aren’t His Fault

Of course it’s not his fault. Nothing ever is. By the way, did you know he killed bin Laden?

President Barack Obama has defended his energy strategy claiming there is no easy answer to the problem of rising gas prices.

‘We know there’s no silver bullet that will bring down gas prices or reduce our dependence on foreign oil overnight,’ Obama said on Saturday in his weekly radio and Internet address dismissing Republican solutions as little more than gimmicks.

‘But what we can do is get our priorities straight and make a sustained, serious effort to tackle this problem.’

His idea includes mockery of those dummies who suggest we drill our own oil. Nothing like working together.

“Since it’s an election year, they’re already dusting off their three-point plans for $2 gas,” Obama mocked. “I’ll save you the suspense: Step one is drill, step two is drill, and step three is keep drilling.”

“Well the American people aren’t stupid,” he said. “You know that’s not a plan — especially since we’re already drilling. It’s a bumper sticker.”

Of course when Bush was president it was all his fault.
