Obama 2008: Piling Up Trillions in Debt is Unpatriotic; Obama 2012: I Won’t Question My Opponent’s Patriotism

He thinks you’re stupid. Well, he’s right to some extent. There are a lot of stupid people who blindly follow him.

President Obama said Tuesday that he was not prepared to question the patriotism or love of country of any of his political rivals — but that the 2012 contest was a contrast in visions of government.

“I’m a firm believer that whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican, that you’re a patriot, you care about this country, you love this country,” Obama said at an intimate fundraiser in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. “And so I’m not somebody who, when we’re in a political contest, suggests somehow that one side or the other has a monopoly on love of country.”

Funny, but back in 2008 he had no problem calling people unpatriotic.

So based on his own logic, he’s unpatriotic. Of course now he won’t say it. He’ll just let his minions do the dirty work.

Everything he says comes with an expiration date. First, we’ll be treated to useful idiots saying it. Then people around him in the administration. Biden gets to say all sorts of crap and even when called on it is simply downplayed as a “gaffe”. Then we’ll hear obama use it, then pretend he never said it. Sorta like how the Buffet rule was going to reduce the deficit and now it was only about fairness. As if the guy behind Solyandra and fast and furious knows anything about that.
