No Wonder Obama’s Freaking Out: Romney Outraised Him By $35 Million in June

A mere $3 million fundraiser for Mitt Romney in the Hamptons is apparently top news today despite it being, like Obama, a miserable failure. Well, wait until the babies find out how much more Romney raised in June.

Politico reports that in an email to donors, the Obama campaign said it raised $71 million in June from 706,000 donors. That trails Mitt Romney’s June haul by $35 million.

Some Obama hack sent out a desperate email looking for money, of course.

Well, I’ve got some good news and some bad news.

Good news first: June was our best fundraising month yet. We exceeded expectations — more than 706,000 people like you stepped up and pitched in for a grand total of $71 million raised for this campaign and the Democratic Party.

Bravo. That’s seriously impressive.

Bad news? We still got beat. Handily. Romney and the RNC pulled in a whopping $106 million.

They may want to get used to having their asses kicked.  Is it any wonder they’re reduced to suing their own supporters in a desperate bid for cash?

Interesting. Follow the money. Especially the big money. Al Gore started a 2004 exploratory committee and it ended abruptly. It later came out that the big donors, many of whom supported him in 2000, told him no. Obama the incumbent is losing the funding race? That will influence future donations. Combine that with yet another crappy jobs report. Sprinkle on top the pathetic mess that will be their national convention. They can’t produce jobs or at least cover it up. They can’t run their own damn convention, and it hasn’t even started yet. They totally screwed up in Wisconsin. And now he’s whining about big money while hobnobbing with Hollywood repeatedly. And it’s only July.

The issue for the libtards is that Romney’s donors spoke the truth.

“We’ve got the message,” she added. “But my college kid, the baby sitters, the nails ladies—everybody who’s got the right to vote—they don’t understand what’s going on. I just think if you’re lower income—one, you’re not as educated, two, they don’t understand how it works, they don’t understand how the systems work, they don’t understand the impact.”

If the folks at the bottom were smart enough to understand why they’re at the bottom, why they’d do something about it. The actually smart ones do.

To liberals this woman represents everything wrong with the wealthy. To intelligent people, she represents arguably the most true thing said about Americans in a long time.

Not everyone is going to be a millionaire college graduate. In fact, a great many Americans are going to be working hard in relatively thankless jobs, raising kids and quietly getting by one day at a time, and that’s the best they can hope for. Liberals recoil in horror at “The world needs ditch diggers, too”. But gosh, that’s the truth, isn’t it?
