“No Feature of the Obama Presidency Has Been Sadder Than It’s Constant Efforts to Divide Us”

Barack Obama

Welcome to the party, Mitch Daniels. Perhaps you should have run for president instead of being content to give a response to yet another pathetic class warfare campaign speech.

Republican Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, once touted as a presidential contender himself, ripped into President Obama’s State of the Union Address in the GOP response last night.

Daniels took up the Republican battle cry that Obama is creating class warfare with his tax-reform proposal, which would boost the amount of taxes millionaires pay — in some cases doubling their rates.

“We do not accept that ours will ever be a nation of haves and have-nots,” Daniels said. “We must always be a nation of haves and soon-to-haves.”

“No feature of the Obama presidency has been sadder than it’s constant efforts to divide us, to curry favor with some Americans by castigating others,” Daniels added.

The growth of debt under the Obama administration is a danger to the nation, said Daniels, the former head of the Office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush.

Being pro-poverty is no way to go through a presidency.
Of course, there are some winners in the Obama economy. His own mascot, for instance.
Now that his campaign is in full swing, the failed president hits the road today. On our dime, of course.

You know, I think big government naturally causes social division, even if you don’t have a president who preaches it. If government is powerful, then it is really really important who gets elected. As a result, Republicans and Democrats are really really at each others throats much of the time. I wish it wasn’t so important, I wish we could all be rightfully apathetic about politics.

Did anyone with an IQ over 80 really think that a ‘community organizer’ would do anything but divide and shake down the country?

Remember all those outlandish internet rumor of how bad an 0bama regime would be? Turns out the were wildly understated.
