New Obama Ad Laughably Criticizes Paul Ryan’s ‘Eloquent Rhetoric’

You’ve got to be kidding me. For years all we’ve heard about the stuttering, bumbling Obama is he delivers speeches with his “soaring oratory” and dazzling rhetoric. Of course that fiction was demolished in last week’s debate. But now here comes Team Obama criticizes Paul Ryan’s “eloquent rhetoric” as we head toward tonight’s VP debate. You can’t make this stuff up.

Talk about projection:

That is one of the worst produced “ads” I’ve seen in this election.

First, it’s too damned long. Moreover, it’s plodding in its pace, which brings me . . .

Chris. He’s highly partisan and very intelligent, but he’s not a rousing speaker. (I mean, did you see him mouth the “No” response to his call.) He frankly looks like he’s doing a segment on Hardball, as voice of reason against the addle-brained Matthews. Why did you pick him to provide the rebuttal?

Turning the tone of Paul Ryan’s skin green is perhaps the lamest and most obvious editing trick in the book. Come on!

Finally, the production values stink. The editing is bad, the split screen is banal. The looting of tape from the conventions is sad and cheap.
