Media Baffled as Obama’s Approval Among Women Craters

Petraeus And Crocker Testify Before Senate On State Of Iraq War

So how’s that whole “War on Women” silliness working out, Bammy?

According to the New York Times-CBS poll, the only group with which Obama maintained his favorability from last month is with those making more than $75,000 a year.

The president’s approval rating was dragged down by the 30 to 44 age group, with whom his approval fell 18 percent, those making $30,000 to $50,000 a year, with whom his approval fell 16 percent, and women, with whom he fell 12 percent.

The president’s drop with women is surprising, as most polls indicate that it’s Republicans who are facing a gender gap. The numbers indicate that neither party has emerged unscathed from last month’s fight over an administration mandate requiring faith-based groups, such as hospitals and universities, to provide birth-control.

Surprising, but only to these nitwits living in the DC bubble.

Three groups that supported him in 2008: The young, women and less affluent are abandoning him in droves, but somehow it’s the GOP that’s got a problem.

When he gets blown out in November, it’ll be reported as “Obama Unexpectedly Loses 40 States” or something along those lines.

The reason women are abandoning him is simple. We go to the grocery store regularly. We have families to feed. And food prices are through the roof.

It takes more of our money to feed our kids, and drive them to soccer practice. We’re getting lectured about driving around in SUVs, but how else do you cart kids around if you have more than three???? Take two cars??? We have less money to spend on so-called “luxuries”, as everything is going to the gas tank, the supermarket, the house payment…and, oh yes, the utilities!

What did they think would happen if gas prices went up and utility costs “necessarily skyrocket”? These people currently in power don’t live in the real world.

But, but but…. We are being assured by all the pundits that the Fluke affair and the attack on the Catholic Church have been brilliant moves by Obama. You mean they weren’t?

And the only people who still admire him earn more than $75000. Would that be the DC political consultant class?

    “Obama Unexpectedly Loses 40 States”

That’d be the best and greatest use of the word “unexpectedly” that I’ve seen in the past ten year.

Why on earth would those making over 75k still admire him when he is targeting them?

For the same reason people ignored and explained away the horrors of the Soviet Union. Lenin referred to them as useful idiots. Obama is their ‘free Tibet’ bumper sticker. Such stickers are meaningless. Worse, they are examples of posturing.Voting for him and parroting his nonsense makes them feel they are wonderful, even as they take advantage of tax laws, business laws and all of the advantages that being well off affords.

Aw, come on, Blue! Are you proposing that liberals are narcissists?

“We’re getting lectured about driving around in SUVs, but how else do you cart kids around if you have more than three????”

Before the government mandated five-point safety harnesses in the rear of the vehicle for children up to age 16/60″/125 lbs, you could have tossed them all in the backseat, except the lucky one who got to sit on the armrest in the front seat (when our grandparents took us on car rides, we’d fight over who got to sit up front with them).

Anyway, the answer from proggs will be “You shouldn’t have had more than one, stupid!”

But, but, but, why not just use a Smart car? You mean we’re not all childless gay urbanites? Some of us actually have families?

I thought the whole “war on women” thing was absolutely silly. How can someone else declare a war on someone else’s behalf? How can the Democrats declare that the Republicans have declared “war” without the Republicans making any such declaration at all?

Apparently the simple act of holding a different viewpoint on an issue or seeing things from a different perspective is “war” to the Democrats. The bigger problem for them is once they go down this path or exaggeration a few times, people stop paying attention to them. It just becomes so much more hyperbole.

Women have been hit hardest by Obama’s economic failure!
Your husband loses his job, you become the sole breadwinner and still be a mom. Women have to deal with more of the day to day responsibilities! The women of the USA are stressed out!
