Komen Caves to Feminazis

Boy, the angry left sure do  get results. Just unleash the vitriol and the target of their ire caves just like that. Let it be known that if you do anything to interrupt the relentless flow of abortion then there is hell to pay.

We want to apologize to the American public for recent decisions that cast doubt upon our commitment to our mission of saving women’s lives.

The events of this week have been deeply unsettling for our supporters, partners and friends and all of us at Susan G. Komen. We have been distressed at the presumption that the changes made to our funding criteria were done for political reasons or to specifically penalize Planned Parenthood. They were not.

Our original desire was to fulfill our fiduciary duty to our donors by not funding grant applications made by organizations under investigation. We will amend the criteria to make clear that disqualifying investigations must be criminal and conclusive in nature and not political. That is what is right and fair.

Our only goal for our granting process is to support women and families in the fight against breast cancer. Amending our criteria will ensure that politics has no place in our grant process. We will continue to fund existing grants, including those of Planned Parenthood, and preserve their eligibility to apply for future grants, while maintaining the ability of our affiliates to make funding decisions that meet the needs of their communities.

Komen had seen a huge increase in financial support despite the relentlessly negative publicity. We’ll see how long that lasts now that they’re back in bed with the abortionists from Planned Parenthood.

The left will celebrate today by doing a happy dance on a pile of dead fetuses.

It’ll be curious how their “friends” on the left treat them when donations dry up.

Yeah. The SGK Foundation stopped funding to that cesspool because they don’t provide mammograms. So, STFU PP supporters. SGK and PP have NOTHING IN COMMON, so they were 100% correct in cutting funding to an entity that doesn’t help them one bit.

Funny, seeing as how the funding from SGK went to over 750,000 breast exams and referrals to doctors who would perform the needed mammograms. You tell me how PP didn’t help SGK when it provided those exams to women who couldn’t otherwise afford to have an exam done. Just because PP didn’t do mammograms in their offices doesn’t mean they didn’t help. Do some research. PP is about a lot more than abortion. 97% of services performed in 2008 by PP were for things OTHER than abortion. That’s right. Only 3% went to abortions. We’re talking 324,008 abortions out of 10,943,609 services. Breast exams and breast care alone were 826,197 of those 10.9m services. That’s basically 2:1, breast exams versus abortions. I’d say they helped out SGK quite a bit.

Over a third of PP’s profit comes from abortion procedures. It’s a big money maker. And how is PP measuring services? Is giving out birth control count the same as an abortion? Writing a prescription doesn’t seem comparable to a major medical procedure.

Carolina: Only 3% went to abortions

North and South Carolina: only some of our money came from slavery.

All three carolinas: shut up about our peculiar institutions.

“…referrals to doctors who would perform the needed mammograms. ”

Can I get half a million dollars to tell you where the free clinic in town is?

I mean since this is vital funding for women’s health issues… and not something any person with a room temperature could manage with a phone book or internet access and all; I’m sure I deserve a 6 figure donation… right?

And hey, if you need me to do a mammogram I’ll feel around and do my best… because I really care. Then I’ll refer you to a real doctor; for liability reasons.

Can I have my $500,000 a year now for my vital services? Or did you expect me to actually do something useful?

Stupid bitches. “I have a lump in my chest and I don’t have health insurance, but I don’t want to die an agonizing death”. Who the hell do they think they are? If they have to be sacrificed on the alter of culture war, then by God, get on that alter, Lumpy.

Nothing like killing thousands of women to prove you’re pro life, huh?

Sad. Pathetically sad on the part of the Kowardly Komen Foundation.
Obviously the Foudation is built on sand.
I almost made a contribution when they announced the pulling of $ for the baby killers at PP.
People who donated upon hearing the Announcement should be irate.
    Very irate.
    Pissed off.
    The Progressives win…again.

and not something any person with a room temperature could manage with a phone book or internet access and all

And watch all the proggs insist women are soooooo stupid they can’t accomplish that without Planned Parenthood (although in Ian’s case, they seem to be right).

  9. Dear Leader on 3/03/12 at 1:23 pm

So now failing to pay up to the Margaret Sanger fan club is “killing thousands of women”? Good to know. I had no idea I was that powerful. I thought cancer was somehow involved, but apparently not. So if Dr. Kermit Gosnell opened up a sideline, would you shill for him too?

In the 1930’s, the fascist governments in Italy, Spain and Germany banned contraception, family planning clinics and abortion

  11. Dear Leader on 3/03/12 at 3:18 pm

And in 2012, some yutz tried to link fascist governments to fundraising for the Margaret Sanger fan club. And in the 1930s, both fascist governemnts and Margaret Sanger loved eugenics. Funny how the world works.

Good for Komen. Mostly good for doing the right thing, but also good for giving me the pleasure of watching the Bible-beating abortion nuts howl in despair.

The community petitioned an organization for redress of grievances, in the tradition of the Tea Party, and achieved their stated aims. Everybody wins. Komen corrected their admitted error, Planned Parenthood will continue to provide health care to at-risk women, and the community activists that led the campaign can be assured that their voices were heard.

I’m really inspired with your writing skills and also with the structure for your weblog. Is that this a paid subject or did you customize it yourself? Either way stay up the nice high quality writing, it’s rare to look a nice weblog like this one these days..

Are we nuts? In the 1970s, a handful of people on the Supreme Court decree that abortion is a constitutional right. In 2012, after 53 million “terminated” unborn children, half of whom were females and a disproportionate number of whom were people of color, particularly African Americans, we still see Planned Parenthood as some great institution. It lures vulnerable young women into solving their problems through violence. It in effect tells them to give up on themselves and the baby that they are carrying. It tells them that they cannot rise to the occasion and do great things despite setbacks in their lives. We are committing national suicide by killing off our precious human resources and millions of their potential descendants. Make no mistake about it. Planned Parenthood is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It is eugenics. It targets, as it did when it originated, ethnic minorities and the poor. We defeated Hitler in WW II, only to embrace his policies under the sophistry of republican rhetoric. What is interesting is Planned Parenthood’s standard defense of itself. It totally plays down its big money-maker, abortion. By doing so, it admits that abortion is wrong. Like slavery and the slave trade of yesteryear, abortion has so permeated our social fabric that it is almost impossible for U.S. citizens to avoid bloodying our hands with it. Our taxes support it. And, as of next year, even Catholic hospitals will be forced to partake in it. Wake up America! Wake up so-called feminists! Wake up sell-out African American and Latino “leaders”.
