Just Another Saturday Night in Chicagoland: Two Dead, Seven Wounded in Shootings

Must be a lack of qualified community organizers.

Nine people were shot and two died of those wounds Saturday night and Sunday morning on the city’s South and West sides, according to police.

A 23-year-old was killed about 1:40 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Springfield Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, police said. The man, identified as Darryl Davidson of the 300 block of North Pine Avenue in Chicago by the Cook County medical examiner’s office, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the chest, police said.He was pronounced dead at 2:27 a.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital, according to the medical examiner.

A 19-year-old man was shot about 2:50 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Waller Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood, Chicago Police DepartmentNews Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said. He was pronounced dead at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County at 3:35 a.m., a spokeswoman for the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. The spokeswoman identified him as Brandon Miles, of the Waller Avenue address where he was shot.

Meanwhile, the war on women claimed several victims.

Three women were shot about 10:25 p.m. Saturday in the 13200 block of South Vernon Street in the Golden Gate neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said. They were standing with a group of people at a party when a man who was denied entry came back with a gun and started shooting, police said.

    Evidently, the cowards in the Illinois legislature can’t bring themselves to enact Stand Your Ground. Doesn’t make sense, either, since these people are all Dimmocraps.
