Just Another Night in Mr. Obama’s Neighborhood: Two Girls Shot in Drive-By

I guess the gangbangers haven’t taken Rahm Emanuel’s advice and moved their activities into the alleys.

Two girls were wounded in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in the Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

A 12-year-old and 13-year-old were outside in the 1300 block of West 117th Street when they were shot just before 8 p.m., police said.

Police said they did not have any information suggesting that the girls were the intended targets.

The younger girl was shot twice in the abdomen area and was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

Tishona Polk, 13, was shot in the buttocks and taken to Roseland Community Hospital. Tishona was expected to be released Tuesday night.

Tishona was walking with the younger girl and a couple of others when she was shot, said Polk’s mother Mildred Shorter, 35.

Meanwhile, the heroic crimefighting mayor announced that Chicago now openly welcomes illegals, so in case they run out of black gangbangers they can be replaced with Hispanics. Diversity, bitches!

Right wing in power: results or else. And sometimes they ignore the results.

Left wing in power: intentions/ press releases are good.

    Or, shut up, that’s why.

    “Tishona (Polk)…said Polk’s mother Mildred Shorter, 35.”

That is confusing. How does the daughter have one last name and her mother has a different last name? I wonder if Ms. Shorter has any other children and if they have her last name, or Polk as last name, or even something else.
